Privacy notice
What this site does with your data.
Last updated September 25, 2026.
Typical Tuesday Games respects your privacy and only uses personal data when there is a clear reason to do so.
Who is responsible
Typical Tuesday Games, an independent game studio based in The Hague, the Netherlands (KVK 42146499), is responsible for the personal data described in this notice. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@typicaltuesdaygames.com.
What data is handled
This site has no analytics, advertising trackers, user accounts, or newsletter form. It does not intentionally set marketing or other non-essential cookies.
Like most websites, the hosting and security services that deliver this site may process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device details, the requested page, and the date and time of the request. This is used to deliver the site, maintain security, and diagnose technical problems.
If you email Typical Tuesday Games, the studio receives the information you choose to include, together with your email address and message metadata.
Why data is used
- To provide and protect the website and prevent abuse.
- To reply to questions, support requests, press inquiries, and business messages.
- To take steps you request before entering into an agreement or to meet legal obligations where applicable.
These uses are based on the studio's legitimate interests in operating a secure website and communicating with people who contact it, on steps requested before a contract, or on a legal obligation. Consent is not used as the basis for these ordinary website and email activities.
Cookies and consent
This site does not currently use non-essential cookies or tracking technologies. Its cookie banner records a necessary-only preference in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again on every visit. That record stays on your device, contains no unique advertising identifier, and expires after 12 months.
You can review or reset that choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. The site also recognizes Global Privacy Control signals and keeps analytics, targeted advertising, and any sale or sharing of personal data switched off. If a future feature requires consent, it will remain inactive until you make a clear choice, and this notice will be updated first.
Sharing and external services
Personal data is not sold. Limited technical data may be handled by service providers that host, deliver, and secure the website. Email providers handle messages sent to the studio. These providers may only use the data to provide their services and meet their own legal obligations.
This site links to other services, including Steam, Bluesky, X, YouTube, and TikTok. No data is sent to those services merely because a link appears here, but their own privacy policies apply after you follow a link.
How data is protected
Security measures are chosen according to the limited amount and type of personal data handled by this site. Current measures include:
- HTTPS encryption for information sent between your browser and the website.
- Browser security controls that restrict scripts, embedded content, framing, permissions, and unnecessary data leakage.
- Data minimization: there are no website accounts, contact forms, analytics profiles, advertising trackers, or customer database.
- Access controls that limit administration and email access to the studio and the service providers needed to operate them.
- Dependency reviews and security updates for the software used to build and serve the site.
Security reports can be sent to contact@typicaltuesdaygames.com. If a personal-data incident occurs, Typical Tuesday Games will investigate, contain, and document it and will notify the relevant authority and affected people when required by law.
How long data is kept
Correspondence is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed to answer the message, provide support, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Technical logs are retained by hosting and security providers according to their operational and security needs.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances and the law that applies to you, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, or object to its use. If processing is ever based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise a right, email the address below and describe your request. You do not need to use legal language. Additional information may be requested only when reasonably necessary to confirm your identity. Requests are normally answered within one month.
Complaints
If you believe your personal data has not been handled properly, please contact Typical Tuesday Games first so the issue can be addressed. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority where you live or work.
Changes to this notice
This notice will be reviewed when the website or its data practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
